Talpa Network is John de Mol's comglomerate of TV and radio stations. For our intents and purposes, the TV channels in play are SBS6, NET5, Veronica and SBS9. Although they draw my ire for the most notable reason of being of uhm, a very particular political colour with their news- and talk shows, their game shows can vary from absolute dog to some of the best in the genre. You could say it's the most 'American' network we have that isn't, well, American. I think that's precisely what John Sr. wanted to begin with. At least their streaming service is completely free and is slightly better at preserving older content than RTL is. You win some, you lose some.
